What actually matters when specifying Savant in Dubai
Savant's UX is stunning, and Dubai clients notice — but it has real Dubai-specific limits we surface early. Voice-first control assumes reliable, local network — so we design a wired Ubiquiti or RUCKUS backbone with a Savant Host on redundant power, not a WiFi-only setup that dies in the summer. Savant Pro Lighting works best on their own dimmers, not third-party retrofits, so we lock the tender-stage keypad and dimmer count before drywall goes up. On the shading side, Savant integrates cleanly with Lutron QSX/RadioRA 3 and Somfy — but not so cleanly with lower-tier motor brands, so we specify shading brand at DD stage. Savant Power (the load management layer) has been especially popular for solar-equipped villas in Al Barari and Sustainable City where the client wants a live view of production, consumption and battery state via the same Savant iOS/Apple TV app they already use.
