Hospitality AV in DubaiHotels, F&B, and lounges — commissioned to open on the night.

Hospitality AV in Dubai has one deadline that matters: the opening. LEXA delivers turnkey audio, video, digital signage, meeting-room automation and BMS integration for hotels, restaurants, lounges, spas and clubhouses across the UAE. Our delivery model is designed around the reality of the opening month — we finalise commissioning on the operator's stack, train front-of-house staff during dry-runs, and are on site for the first-week service so a headset failure or a fader misroute doesn't hit a guest experience.

Dubai Reality Check

What actually matters when specifying Hospitality AV in Dubai

Dubai's hospitality projects run to the day. Openings are gala events, government inspections coincide with commissioning, DCD/DEWA sign-offs sit in the critical path, and operators (Marriott, IHG, Rotana, One&Only, Six Senses) each bring their own AV standards to which base-build has to comply. Missing an operator standard at sign-off costs weeks of rework. We read the brand-standard document at tender stage and specify accordingly: Marriott's BONVoY on-property signage stack, IHG's IPTV template, One&Only's speech-privacy targets in guest rooms, Six Senses' hidden-tech aesthetic. We also carry Dubai-Municipality-familiar acousticians for sound-attenuation between F&B and residential neighbours (a growing enforcement area in JBR, Downtown and the Marina).

The LEXA Difference

How we deliver Hospitality AV projects differently

  • Brand-standard-literate: we read the operator's AV standard cover-to-cover before mobilising and tender against it, not against a generic hospitality template.
  • DCD / DEWA / TDRA / Dubai Municipality documentation prepared in-house — no external consultants adding a week of paperwork per submission.
  • Night-open drills: 3-day pre-opening dry-run where front-of-house staff push the buttons under real service conditions and we snag anything that flinches.
  • On-site during the first-week service: a LEXA engineer sits in the property for opening week so day-one issues get fixed inside the shift, not the next morning.
  • Post-open service contract options with 24/7 on-call cover — matched to the operator's SLA obligations to their guests, not a generic 9-to-5.
Where Hospitality AV fits

Typical Dubai deployments

Downtown Dubai 5★ hotel — 210 keys

Guest-room IPTV, in-room casting, mini-bar automation, ballroom AV, spa acoustic treatment, digital signage across 42 back-of-house screens. Delivered on the operator's brand standard with 3-day night-open training.

DIFC fine-dining restaurant

Music zoning across 4 acoustic areas (bar, main dining, private dining, terrace) with Dubai Municipality sound-attenuation compliance. Chef's table live-pass camera to a hidden ops room monitor. K-array line arrays disguised as architectural coving.

Palm Jumeirah beach club

Weatherised outdoor audio across pool deck, cabanas and beach. DJ booth patched into main sound with hot-swap between resident and guest DJs in under 60 seconds. Sunset-cued lighting scenes tied to the audio matrix.

JBR rooftop lounge — noise-complaint remediation

Retrofit of an existing venue after resident noise complaints. Directional coverage using L-Acoustics 108P and a facade-mounted attenuation solution. Noise level at the receiving residence dropped by 14 dB SPL without cutting on-deck experience.

Dubai Hills clubhouse — multi-use hall

Flexible-use hall reconfigurable for wedding, corporate AGM, kids' event and cinema screening. Motorised drapes, motorised projection screen, wireless mic-pack management, and a one-touch preset selector at the AV cabinet.

Marina spa retreat

Speech-privacy-first spec: treatment rooms hit STC 55, ceiling drivers tuned to therapist-preferred playlist library. Reception uses beamforming ceiling mics for hands-free phone answer without a headset — critical for the operator's brand impression.

Hospitality AV in Dubai — questions we're actually asked

Can you deliver under a hotel operator's brand-standard AV specification?+
Yes, this is the core of our hospitality practice. We work regularly under Marriott / IHG / Accor / Rotana / Six Senses / One&Only brand standards. Send the brand-standard AV document at tender stage and we'll respond against every clause, not just against a generic hospitality template.
How do you handle the Dubai Municipality sound-attenuation requirements for F&B?+
We carry in-house DM-familiar acousticians and design against a target dB SPL at the nearest residential boundary. For mixed-use podiums (bar/lounge with residential above) we typically layer directional line-arrays, absorbing ceilings inside the venue, and a mass-loaded barrier at the boundary wall. We can accompany you to the DM meeting.
Can you commission around the operator's pre-opening schedule?+
Yes — pre-opening is where our model wins. We plan 3 days of night-open drills where FOH runs a mock service, and we sit through opening-week service with an engineer on-property. First-week snags get fixed in-shift, not the following morning.
What about post-opening support?+
We offer three tiers: business-hours (9–6 Sun–Thu), extended-hospitality (7 days, 8–02:00 GST) and 24/7 on-call with a 2-hour on-site SLA. Most 5★ operators contract the middle or top tier for their first 12 months of operation.
Do you handle the digital signage content too, or just the hardware?+
Both are available. We typically install and manage the CMS (BrightSign, Samsung MagicINFO, or the operator's preferred platform) and offer optional content-refresh services on a monthly retainer. Some operators bring their own agency for content and use LEXA only for hardware and playout — that model works equally well.
